 Lasts The Entire Work Day - Highly Recommended! August 30, 2010

This AGPtek "7200mAh Laptop Battery" actually lasts long enough to put in an entire work day without needing to be recharged! I bought this for my ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BK 10.1-Inch Black Netbook - 10.5 Hour Battery Life, which I use for accessing my company's network (via VPN) from my home Wi-Fi or cellular phone "tethering". Here are my observations:
Pros -
+ Long Lasting; as noted above, this more than lasts for the 9 - 10 hours I stay logged in at work
+ Good Design; rather than just have the extra bulk come straight out the back, this actually is formed to provide a user friendly tilt to the netbook keyboard when in use
Misc -
* Heavy; this adds a good bit of extra weight to your netbook, but it wasn't really unexpected either in a battery that lasts this lone
I am very pleased with this battery and am considering getting another one for use on vacations.

The AGPtek 7200mAh Netbook Battery arrived quickly in excellent condition. Since this battery has a higher capacity than the original it is physically larger than the original, so the netbook no longer lies flat. The rear is raised up about an extra inch which is not really a problem.
After the initial charge the netbook reported 14 hours of battery time remaining. I think I got close to 12 hours on the initial charge so I'm rather pleased.
Then my AC Adapter/Charger died.

Replaced the factory battery with this one. Have been running it for the last three months without a hiccup. I was considering much more expensive replacements before finding this one. Gives up to 12 hours of light work or 8 hours of intense browsing. A great purchase.

i really like the asus eee pc 1005ha laptop i bought from CDW. i added another gig of ram, and this extended battery and this little wonder works like a charm on dual boot with windows xp home and jolicloud linux. the extended battery easily gives it another 3-4 hours extra, providing me with 10.5-11 hrs of uptime with webcamm off, screen half-bright, powersaving performance mode and wifi running all the time. using standby for quick change of location and hibernate for carrying around during the day, both bring the netbook back to life within 20secs.
the battery lifts the back of the netbook up, making it easier to type on the keyboard. when the lid is closed, the slightly rounded sticking out part of the battery also provides a comfortable way to carry the laptop.
this battery was worth every penny.
